The Growth of American Women in Education, 2015-2020 (4).png

Inspiration:

As March is approaching and it is Women's History Month, my design concept is to present on the progress of women in education and their current status.

Design Concept:

  • Purple hue: Royalty, prestige, and ambition-signify the importance and value of women's education.

  • Battery, its liquid, plug and flower light bulb: The advancement of women's careers in education. Battery and its liquid to symbolize the efforts that women put into pursuing a Master's degree. For faculty occupation, the plug and light bulb represent the successful outcomes that women achieve through their efforts.

Measurement:

I first organize and analyze the data using Tableau. I then calculate the height of each element by multiplying the overall height of the picture element by its percentage.
